The Quarterly Department Hangout is a professional networking event sponsored by New Mexico Women in Film that provides the space for individuals working in all set departments to build relationships, usually limited to a few narrow career lines in the industry.

This event is for all career types, career levels, and individuals working in the New Mexico film industry. Our kick-off event of this quarterly series will be on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 5:30 pm on Zoom as a virtual event with breakout room sessions.

While events may begin with general information or a featured guest, the purpose of these meetings is to allow the community time to network. The majority of the event will be open for attendees to connect with others based on their career focus. 

Our next event date, August 25, 2021, will return to an in-person experience. It is our commitment to continue to include a virtual version of our events for members across the state to have the ability to participate. 

Active members of NMWIF have free attendance. If you are not an active member, you can attend for a small ticket fee of only $5.00. We are inviting our friends from DGA, SAG-AFTRA, and Local IATSE 480 to attend and share insights on their organizations, benefits of membership, and field questions.
