What Is The Community In Action Program?

The Community In Action program is an EXCLUSIVE opportunity for active members of NMWIF to be part of a production training & development environment that covers a wide variety of production roles, From Pitch to Post!

Our members have requested more access to on-set experience and project development support. This program fulfills those needs and allows our organization to create spaces that promote safe sets for members of all experience levels to train and develop the core skills needed to grow a sustainable professional career in film and media.

Members that register for this program can participate in two ways:

  • To request support of a micro-production style project. (Examples of projects well suited for this program include scenes/trailers, short films, podcast episodes, reel content, etc.).
  • To participate in production requests submitted by fellow members and program partners for production in a wide variety of roles.

The Community In Action program is an excellent way for members to experience different roles, gain experience, and help peers achieve their industry goals!
